MONSOON HOUSE

A collection of poetry about the sanctity of Art to society and modernity, as well as to the individual's own soul. 

 

A collection that acknowledges the challenges of wrestling with the human condition, the infinite of one's own inner spirit confined to the finitude of one body, of one life, within the context of what it means to be an Artist; having to contend with inexhaustible dreams confined to limited abilities, and offers a means for the Artist and the Athlete to burn away that which does not serve their ends.

 

Invoking the symbolism of the Tree, the Seed, the Fruit and the Flora to highlight the symmetry between the creation inherent to nature and the creation that takes place beneath the Artist's loving hands.
